Logline
The surreal lives of a household of insects in Surbiton… Bugged is the alternative view of wildlife that David Attenborough didn't want you to see.

Synopsis
Down in the dingly dell, behind the cookaborough tree, is a quiet grove, a tranquil idyll where teh Drackart lives, in blissful ignorance of a little city on a toadstool, beneath its nest...

In the toadstool city is a little house, where a neurotic fly called Karl lives.  Karl’s life is plagued by problems, usually the result of his troublesome visitors, be they French Martians, or an underfed sofa.

The supporting cast, who live with Karl and multiply his troubles, are also bugs: a timid daddy long-legs called Karen, a fat, lazy PlayStation-addicted centipede called Chas and Phil, an aggressive caterpillar.

The pilot episode plays out Karl's determination for vengeance, when he is horrified to discover that his sausages are missing...

Bugged is a 2D animated comedy series about anarchy and absurdism – reflecting the confusion that many people feel when confronted with the modern world.  Following the surreal lives of a group of creepy crawlies who share a house in a parallel universe on a toadstool, Bugged is the alternative view of insect life that David Attenborough doesn’t want you to see.

The 30 second trailer is online now at www.buggedcartoon.co.uk along with character descriptions, storylines and pictures of the show.
